My current interests include spectrum policy, computer systems, technology management, wireless communications, and anything related to the Internet. I am a technology director in research and development at a Chicago-area high tech company, and I am the web designer for several small businesses and organizations. I also design for print media, and I do some audio and video production, including voice-over work.
My affiliations include ETSI STF-386, CEPT SE-43, and the Software Defined Radio Forum. I am a former member of IEEE 802.22.
My areas of expertise include Audio and RF Design, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Spectrum Management, Graphic Design, Web Design, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I am a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois.
I earned my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from Northwestern University. I also hold an MBA degree with a concentration in Telecommunications Policy from Keller Graduate School of Management (with distinction).
Some of my interests include Fitness Sports, Wireless Technology, Web Development, Computers, Music, and Travel. I enjoy many kinds of music, but especially classical music. I collect old radios and I also operate a low power (Part 15) classical AM radio station.
